In recent years however, they have developed what I think are their best hi-fi supports yet, the Europa series. Europa is available in two sizes, 650mm and 800mm wide.
This support eclipses the older siblings in their range, the Equinox, by a long way in my view.
The Europa series is a much more stylish looking system, with beautifully machined aerospace grade aluminium components, and the classy looking 10mm safety black gloss glass is a superb finishing touch.
The uprights which determine the shelf height are available in three sizes too, 135mm, 185mm and 235mm. This alone is reason enough to consider this new design over the older Equinox which was available in only 130mm and 180mm heights, which I personally always found limiting.
The Europa is also the first 'flat packed' system from Atacama, making it easier to ship or take home from our store. So if you are in the market, pop in for a look, as we use this system for our main showroom system.
