The Calyx Kong Purple like its larger sibling the 'Coffee' is a high quality USB DAC and headphone amplifier in a sleek aluminium enclosure that is superbly finished.
Like all Calyx products, the Kong is milled from a solid billet of aluminium giving it a solid luxury feel, the three top mounted buttons control volume up and down, and mute. On the bottom is a full rubber pad (rather than simple feet) to give it a secure grip on your desktop.
A single 3.5mm headphone output will drive even difficult headphones, or it can feed into your powered desktop speakers. Input is via the USB 'B' type connection.
