Digital Audio Interfaces
A digital audio interface is a device to draw digital audio via the USB port of your computer, and connect to a DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) for conversion to analogue audio for playback. Many of these devices remove the digital noise (Jitter) and re-clock the data flowing from the computer to the DAC. Many newer DACs such as the M2Tech Young and Calyx DAC have USB ports capable of re-clocking and do not require one of these devices, but for older DACs without a USB port, these are the ideal way to give that old DAC a new lease of life.
