SOtM sMS-1000 Music Server

Those clever folk at SOtM have announced a new music server, and for the first time ever I think this is one we can sell with a clear conscience.
I have never been comfortable selling music servers in the past, we tried it with a few brands with products ranging from $2000 through to $5500, and I never felt they were worth the money when compared to a computer system and in particular a Mac.
The new SOtM sMS-1000 which is due to land in our store this week, could change my mind because on paper it offers and awful lot of bang for buck, including SOtM's high-end digital outputs, massive storage and well developed open source software which offers compatibility with everything...well almost!
The reason we are even considering a server is that not everyone wants to use a Mac or PC for their music playback, and up until now I have felt that other products available to us were either way too expensive, had limited compatibility with other devices or both.
